At a property level, some of our initiatives include:
- Recycling and compost programs at our apartment communities for traditional and e-waste materials.
- The use of “green” cleaning products in property common areas.
We use paperless administrative processes whenever possible and 80% less paper than traditional property management firms. From initial application all the way to move-out, we strive not to print a single piece of paper.

- E-payments from Residents
- Electronic DocuSign service for all Resident-signed documents
- Digital work orders and maintenance records
- Digital rental applications, credit checks and leases using DocuSign
- On-line ‘cloud’ access to leases and lease-related documents
The Heartwood Team
My experience with Heartwood Properties has been nothing less than perfect. They use a tenant portal that makes it very easy to pay rent, request maintenance, or leave a comment for the Heartwood team. If something needs to be fixed, it gets done either same day or the following day. They also have an emergency line if there is an issue during non-business hours. The Heartwood team is also very interactive so you feel comfortable when/if you need to call them. I highly recommend renting a property from them – probably the best in Boulder. – F.K., Resident

We recently relocated to Boulder. We were looking for a small studio space in the heart of downtown Boulder – Enter, Heartwood Properties! We found the best little studio in Boulder! It is completely remodeled and is drawing a great cast and crowd in terms of residents – all ages and all walks of life! The apartment that I was living in with two roommates was transferred from another management company to Heartwood, and we couldn’t have been happier!
