We do our best to ensure that our properties are in the best possible condition, however, despite our best efforts, equipment and fixtures break down and accidents sometimes occur. Take a look at the following Common Maintenance issues before submitting an online maintenance request. Please refer to your Rental Agreement to verify what types of repairs are considered the responsibility of the Resident and what types of repairs are considered the responsibility of the Owner.

Get Protected (Renter’s Insurance)
Your well-being and the condition of your rental is of high importance to us. As your property manager, we want to make sure you are properly protected in the event something happens to your dwelling or personal property, which is why we require all Residents to carry renters insurance. A renters insurance policy will help recover the cost of your personal property in the event of theft, fire, or water loss. If your unit become uninhabitable due to a major loss, many renter policies will also cover alternative living expenses. Please note that Heartwood Properties is not responsible for replacing any of your personal property or providing alternative living arrangements due to any type of loss.
Renters insurance is also surprisingly affordable – you can get protected for less than $1 a day – and your premium is just a fraction of any replacement costs you would incur after an unexpected event.
